Is carbon+oxygen->carbon dioxide a combination reaction and redox reaction?

I think that (carbon+oxygen=carbon dioxide) is only a combination reaction and not a redox reaction because in a redox reaction, both oxidation and reduction is involved. But in this equation, both the reactions don't seem to be involved.
