Is chlorine metal or non-metal ? Why ?

non metal because during chemical reaction it accept electron so it is called non metal

Heya!!!

Chlorine is a nonmetal has it doesn't has capability to lose electrons

It can only gain electrons in order to complete it's octet.

Thus it is a non metal
