Is current leading or lagging in inductor ?

  •  The current lags the voltage by phase difference of 90°.
  •      I = Applied current x sin(ωt)
  •      V= Applied voltage x C x ω x cos(ωt)
  •  When angle is zero degree then cos will give max. value i.e; voltage will be maximum and it will lead while current will be zero at sin 0 thus phase difference between them is 90°.
