it may seems that current is a vector because it have a magnitude and direction but the thing is a vector always obey the law of addition of vector since current doesn't obey it and it follows algebraic addition, current is a scaler

electric current is a scalar quantity though it has magnitude n dist both but it is always uni directional ie -ve to +ve
