Is electron gain enthalpy directly proportional to electronegativity??please explain​

No, not such.

For example,

F is most electronegative but it has less electron gain enthalpy than Cl.

It's not always true.

We can take it but there are some exceptions as of F and Cl .

F is most electronegative element in whole periodic table but if we talk about Cl than Cl has more electron gain enthalpy than F.
