No it's not cause electroplating is done through the help of electricity whereas galvanizing uses metal and paints over the object.Though both have the Same objective and that is to enhance the look of the object.

electroplating is a process that uses electric current to reduce the dissolved metal but I am so that they form a thin quiet metal coating on the electrodes the term used for electric oxidation of an iron on to a solid substance as in the formation of silver chloride on the Silver wire to make a silver chloride electrodes electroplating is primarily used to change the surface property of an object but may also be used to build a thickness and inside part or to form objects by electroforming the process used in electroplating called electrode deposition

galvanization or galvanizing is the process of applying a protective seal coating Tu steel or iron to prevent rusting the most common method is too hot dip galvanizing in which parts are submerged in a bath of a molten zinc zinc coating when enacted prevent corrosion substance from the reaching the underlying steel or iron the sink serves as a scary official Android so that even if the coating is crashed the xpose Dil will be protected by the remaining zinc zinc protection from corrosion for better result application of the chromates over the zinc is also seen in industries so electroplating and galvanisation are different
