Is evaporation and boiling are same? If not then why?

no bcz in boiling the substance is converted to water vapor at its boiling point but in evaporation substance is converted to vapour before its boiling point.

Evaporation is the process of conversion of a liquid into vapor at a temperature below its boiling point.
It is a surface phenomenon.
It is a very slow process than boiling
It occurs at all temperatures


Boiling:-
Boiling is the process by which a liquid turns into a vapor when it is heated at its boiling point.
It is faster than the process of evaporation.It is a bulk phenomenon
It occurs only at a particular temperature - boiling point.
