Is every rectangle a parallelogram? Is every parallelogram a rectangle? Give reasons.

Every rectangle is parallelogram
but every parallelogram is not a rectangle

AS in parallelogram opp. sides are parallel and equal which is there in rectangle .but in parallelogram every angle is not 90 which is in rectangle which is a special case by taking opp angles of parallelogram to be equal
AS OPPOSITE,ANGLES OF PARALLELOGRAM ARE theta and 180- theta
so theta = 180- theta is in rectangle
2theta= 180
theta=90
which is rectangle
