g(x) = x+1
x+1 = 0.
x= -1.
F(x) = 2x^3 + 4x + 6.
putting value of x in F(x).
F(x) = 2(-1)^3+4×(-1)+6.
F(x) = -2 -4 +6 = 0.
Yes, it is a factor of this polynomial.

Putting x= -1
⇒  2(-1)³ + 4(-1) + 6
⇒ (-2) + (-4) + 6
⇒  6 - 6
⇒  0

∴ (x + 1) is a factor of 2x³+4x+6
