Yes,Fire can be caused by the burning of biotic or abiotic chemicals. Fire itself neither abiotic or biotic. When biotic materials burn they product abiotic compounds, including charcoal that may continue as part of carbon cycling, and carbon dioxide that enters the atmosphere and is used metabolically by plants.
