And no, you can't be likely to become a theoretical physicist since geography as a subject won't help you in the field as physics knowledge is needed.

There are many career options for geography since it has many parts: World geography, national geography, economic geography and many more. You can probably become a researcher/ scientist studying about the earth by knowing geography, also a clerk or accountant if you learn economic geography.. so yeah...
