Is India a democratic country? Write some arguments in favour of your answer

yes India is a democratic country because according to Abraham Lincoln power is shared by the people for the people and of the people these power is largely share in India.and hence India enjoy the power.

yes INDIA is a democratic country because there are multi parties which stand in election and the majority party who gets majority of votes i.e.50%+1 or more is the winning party and gets the rule . representatives govern the country
