In the novel "The Invisible Man", Griffin – the protagonist is an anti-hero of the tragic story. Though the protagonist had many skills and brilliant, he used them in a crooked way to cheat others.

Because of his evil thoughts, he was a mystery among people in the town. He suffered a lot after he was thrown out of the inn and still he couldn’t change his mind. He wished to get the help from the Doctor to cheat more. But, he was trapped and caught.

Thus, Griffin is an anti-hero of the novel, The Invisible Man.
