According to my opinion it's not always important to speak the truth.
But in most cases, like say 99% cases it is better to say the truth.
In cases when our truth harms someone else it is better to hide the truth. In these cases it is better to say a lie and make the situation better than to say the truth and ruin the situation.
It is jus my opinion. It may differ from person to person.
So at the end I would suggest that just appreciate everyone you see because it may be the only best compliment they get that day.
For this if you have to say a lie then don't hesitate. But lie in a limit. :P
