The idea of using laptops for students instead of usual notepads is good but it have no difference, because as we write in laptops or notepads we have to the same effort and also will write the same notes in laptop that we will write in notepads. No same work, same effort, so same reward.

Thus I can conclude that the topic has no meaning. More or else if we use laptops for writing notes etc, people likes game, paint etc will be attracted to their hobbies which can be with the help of laptop. Thus, it will waste our time.
