It protects from famine. It helps to cultivate superior crops with the water supply as per need of the crops. Ultimately it helps in economic development. Irrigation water improves water conditions in the soil, increases the water content of plant fibers, dissolves nutrients & makes them available to plants.

1.MORE LAND UNDER CULTIVATION THEREBY GIVES MORE YIELD

2.IN THE LAND WE REQUIRE MANY NATURAL SUBSTANCES SUCHAS MANURES AND FERTILIZERS .

3.AND PROPER IRRIGATION FOR PLANTS IN SPECIFIC INTERVALS OF TIMES.

WELL LAND IS VERY PRECIOUS WE CANT LET IT DEPLETE SO WE MUST EVEN LOOK FORWARD TO PROTECT IN USING PROCESS SUCH AS

1.WASTE LAND RECLAMATION

2.PREVENT OF EXCESSIVE USE OF FERTILIZER(CHEMICAL).

3.USE EVEN THE BARREN LAND BY CONVERTING IT INTO USABLE FORM.

4.IT PREVENTS DROUGHT AND FAMINE

5.PROTECTS OUR SURROUNDS FROM WATER LOGGING .
