It completely depends on your level!
Yes, the level of a student actually matters when it comes to the mathematics subject.
Since you didn’t provide enough details, let us generalise the answer.
Below Average Student: If you are a below average student (don’t be ashamed of being one, accept it if you are and work it out to be an excellent one), you definitely should go for the NCERT textbook as suggested by other answers. You can also try watching online video lectures which you may find free on youtube. Avoid Facebook and WhatsApp while using the Internet.
Average Student: Read on the NCERT theory part and solve its solved examples by yourself, then go on to solving R.S. Aggarwal (It is a very nice book).
R.S. Aggarwal book has a lot of questions to practice from and a large number of solved problems which makes it easier for self-study and the same type of questions are not repeated many times (RD Sharma has this disadvantage). Solve the solved problems by yourself and look the solution only if you tried hard enough (now hide the solution and solve again).
Above Average Student: Again read on the NCERT theory part and solve its solved examples by yourself. You may select yourself between R.S. Aggarwal and R.D. Sharma. R.D. Sharma has a higher level of questions so you may prefer that but it has a very large number of questions and repeated questions of the same type. I solved R.S. Aggarwal.
