well i think yes. the dates are necessary to study for history exams.. because if you are given to answer in brief about a question such as war,u first need to describe when it started. and sometimes such questions also came in as a 1 mark question. so it's necessary.

yes my friend. It's important to byheart all the dates in history. Keep any clue to remember all the dates without confusing. If there are more and more dates to study then choose the important dates and study by consulting with teacher or last year question papers.
