I believe prisoners should have the right to vote because they are humans, like us and have been downgraded and have had a human right taken away from them. So when they are sent to prison, the feel like they are lower than other people and that the government doesn't care about them any more. Therefore by taking away their right to vote, inmates have a bad reflection and feel of the government and leaders.
Just because they broke the law Doesn't mean they have to but cut off from the world all people should be allowed to vote why should they not be those people could be behind bars for nothing because they did not have a fair trial and they could behind for something they dident do so yes they should can vote.
All prisoners should have the right and chance to vote.
Though these people may have committed a crime, being imprisoned doesn't change the fact that they, too, are affected by the results of elections. Some may also argue that they are incompetent of voting because they have proven themselves to be untrustworthy and irresponsible and they compare them to children, non-citizens, and mentally incompetents. This is not always the case for prisoners. I believe that if they feel the need to vote then they still have a sense of duty to their country in which they are still citizens of to vote.
