Is it possible that a close current carrying loop placed in a magnetic field experiences a non-zero magnetic force? Explain clearly please

Explanation:

Net force will be zero only when the field is acting perpendicular to the plane of the loop. If filed is acting in the radially outward direction in the plane of the loop then net force is not zero.

A current carrying loop in a uniform magnetic field will experience torque only given by

τ = M × B. Where M is magnetic moment of loop B is magnetic field. Force is zero on a current carrying loop in a uniform magnetic field.

Note : Magnetic field must be uniform for net force to be zero.
