Is it possible that a force is acting on a body but still the work done is zero? Explain giving one example.

Answer:Yes . It is when displacement is zero.

Example: When a boy pushes a wall , he is applying force but still the work done will be zero as the displacement is zero.

Yes it may be possible if the force does not create any displacement as work done is equal to force multiple by displacement

So if there is no displacement i.e. displacement is 0 then work done is 0

W.D = F × Disp.

W.D = F × 0

W.D = 0

Example in the case of a coolie (कुली) [maybe the Hindi spelling is wrong as i am weak in hindi]

In physics

The work done by cookie is not considered.
