An open vessel allows pressures due to other gases like o2 co2 etc etc. But they fluctuate i.e. Their entropy is not defined and thus equilibrium is not defined.

❤. No . In an oppen vessel , the vapours escape into atmosphere.
❤. Hence the rate of evaporation will be more than the rate of condensation .
❤. So equilibrium cannot be achieved.
