It is possible to eliminate world poverty once a majority of the global population consciously decide that capitalism is past its sell by date. You can tell by my Bio I’m not a great fan of capitalism, despite the fact I’ll willingly admit to that as a system its solved the problem of producing a sufficient surplus so that want is no longer a feature of human history. That said, due to the profit motive and the necessary constant of artificial scarcity capitalism is incapable of solving the problem of distribution.
