Yes it is possible to fire to infinity in space using gun , according to Newton's first law of motion an object will continue to be in a state of motion or rest until and unless an external force is applied to it. If you provide a little velocity to the bullet in a space it will travel infinity distance with same velocity until any external force is acted upon it-like gravitational force.
