Is it possible to have a quadrilateral with three of it's angles equal and the fourth angle is thrice of one of the angles ? Why or why not?

Answer:

Sum of angles in quadrilateral = 360 degrees

Let three equal angles be = X

Fourth angle = 3 * x = 3x

Now X + X + X + 3x = 360

3x + 3x = 360

6x = 360

x = 360/6 = 60degrees

Each of three equal angles = 60 , 60 , 60 which is equal to 180 degrees

Fourth angle = 360 - 180 = 180

which is thrice of one of the angle.= 60 * 3 =180 degrees
