Is it possible to have an element with atomic number 1.5 and placed between hydrogen and helium?

No, as I think that it is not possible for an element to have fractional atomic number. Actually, according to my thinking the atomic number of an element is equal to the number of protons in the nucleus so we cannot divide nucleus into two parts and three parts and put it in the nucleus. It is not possible. These cannot be in fractions.

No, I don't think so as in the current periodic table also the position of hydrogen is not fix. It will not be possible.
