Is it possible to have zero velocity and non zero acceleration.explain?

yes...when an object is thrown upwards then at the topmost point the velocity is zero whereas the acceleration is still constant that is 9.8 m/s^2

yes it is possible for any object to have zero velocity and non zero acceleration . even when net external force acting on it is also zero
