yes it is possible. For example alloy it is also a metallic compound

RajTejaswi: electrostatic attraction
RajTejaswi: when they attract its not that they'll blast
WolverineX24: this attraction come when the bond will be completed
RajTejaswi: they'll be stable..till then
RajTejaswi: they together form an ionic compound i think i need to refer my chemistry book
WolverineX24: so how two metals will become stable...... if they have not enough electrons to complete their octate or duplet
WolverineX24: ionic bond???
WolverineX24: I think that it's electrovalent bond
RajTejaswi: thats what i said, in an ionic bond the elements get 'attracted' towards each outher by electro static attraction.
RajTejaswi: Apart from amalgams and intermetallic compounds.....metalsform ionic compunds

yes.it is possible to make a metallic compound. Alloys can be either solid solutions of two or more metals or mixtures of metals.

One example of an metallic compound is CuAl2

Hope this helps!
