Yes the muscle cells can be called the affected organ.

Explanation:

  • This is a part of the reflex arc. A stimulus is picked up by a muscle. Then it travels via the  afferent nerve to the central nervous system.
  • this is true for any conditional or non conditional reflex of a body.
  • Within the spinal cord there is  movement of the impulse and and then the impulse travels via the efferent nerve to the  effector muscle which brings about the action.
