Is it true that in one dimensional motion, a particle with zero speed may have non zero velocity? Explain.

No,it is not true because velocuty is different from the speed by only direction ,if body is moving in 1D then direction of body will become constant, in this case velocity will behave as speed, so velocity be also zero when speed is zero
