Hello...
Here is your answer....

The sun is a star, the parts of which can never fall on the Earth. Dinosaurs are believed to have died after a large piece of rock, probably an asteroid from space, struck the Earth.

The impact was so powerful that it caused a huge amount of dust to rise into the sky. it also caused widespread fires and smoke due to the heat generated by the impact. The dust and smoke cover the sky, cutting of sunlight for many months, which gradually led to the death of plants that provided the dinosaurs with food. As plant eating dinosaurs died, meat eating dinosaurs which prayed on them also failed to survive. As a result, the dinosaur species died off gradually and became extinct some 65 million years ago.
