Primarily the lung is an organ of the respiratory system, where as the heart is the organ of the circulatory system. However, the lungs contain alveoli, around which the blood flows to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Hence, there is a confusion that the lung is also an organ of the circulatory system.

So, you can always safely take the lung as an organ of the respiratory system and not the circulatory system.
