Magnet can be found in nature which is natural magnet , like lodestone also called magnetite.

Also magnet can be made by artificially, called artificial magnet, like neodymium magnet.

Above are called permanent magnet.

Also there are some other magnet called electromagnet. Electromagnet is formed by passing current through conductor. The conductor show magnetic behaviour until there is current, if we stop the flow of current in conductor, the conductor stop showing magnetic properties. Example of electromagnet is coil use in Fan's motor.
