Hola Friend ✋✋✋
We all were familiar with Mahishmati by the epic film ' Bahubali '
But this city is a real one....
It was present in Central India..on the banks Narmada river valley... which we call Madhya Pradesh....
It is said that this kingdom was ruled by Haiheya ruler Kartavirya Arjuna.....
It was a important city in the southern part of Avanti Kingdom....
It was then capital of Anupa kingdom.....
Rulers of some 11th and 12th century kingdoms in present-day South India claimed Haihaya ancestry....
They indicated their claimed place of origin with the title "Lord of Mahishmati, the best of the towns"...
In late 13th century , it was a flourishing city .....
Hope it helps
