is metals positive and non metals negative?!
are acids non metallic in nature and bases metallic in nature?
are metals and non metals ( anion and cation ?!) what are they?

Metals can easily lose electron from their valence shell. So they form positive ions or cations.
eg. Na loses one electron to form Na+
Non-metals can easily accept electrons. So they form negative ions or anions.
eg. Cl can accept an electron to form Cl-
Metal ions are basic in nature and non-metallic ions are acidic in nature.
NaOH is a base whereas HCl is an acid.
Metals and non-metals are elements.
Metals cam form cations by losing electron and non-metals can form anions by gaining electron.
eg. Na loses one electron to form Na+
Non-metals can easily accept electrons. So they form negative ions or anions.
