Is meteorology a term of weather or climate

The difference between weather and climate is that weather consists of a short period (minutes to months) time whereas the climate is the opposite it stays for a long (at least 7 years). The terms of weather are Temperature, Humidity, Solar energy, Precipitation and Topography.
The term of meteorology uses for the study of weather and climate both. The process of studying weather condition and phenomena of the atmosphere called Meteorology. Who studies it called Meteorologist. And it is a branch of science.
