Technology is what makes different from the old eras. In old eras, people used lived simply without using any technology. They drank water from rivers, streams, wells, ponds, etc. They lived in make-shift kachha houses, huts, etc. In the past living without technology was feasible.

However, in the modern era, living a day without technology is impossible. Technology governs and operates our life every moment. TV, AC, Smartphones, computers, vehicles, electricity, ATM’s, internet, aeroplanes, jets, missiles, drones, satellites, space exploration, and myriads of machines are omnipresent in the modern era. Almost every work and job is done using technology.  

Hence, it can be concluded with assertion modern era is more prone to technology.
