Is my answer correct?

The speed of a train increases at a constant rate 'α' from zero to 'v', and then remains constant for an interval, and finally decreases to zero at a constant rate 'β'. If 'L' be the total distance travelled, then the time of the constant (during the interval) will be

T = L/v - v/2 × ((1/α)+(1/β))

P.s it would help if you send the process of how you arrived at your answer. Thank you!
