There is no such thing as “Bollywood Association”. It was Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association which passed a resolution that no Producer member of the Association will hire a Pakistani artist or technician henceforth. It was passed in September 2016.

“Hindi Medium” was already in production much before that and a lot of the film had already been shot. So that resolution has no impact on Hindi Medium.
