S it is permeable it present on outer membrane of a cell and allows only selected particles to pass through it so it is Called as a pereable

The Cell membrane or the plasma membrane is a Semi-permeable membrane.( Selectively permeable)

In Plant cells it is present below the cell wall.

In Animal cells it is the Outermost​ membrane.
