It is both, and both are critical for the kind of topic.
It is said that politics is an ¨undesirable activity¨ because many people don’t enjoy it, but also there are people that view politics as sports. After all, it shows the balance of how it is approved.
Speaking of balance, it is also why both reasons are critical. The reason for it to be an activity that should get rid off is just one side of the argument, but there is also the other part where it needs to be there in order to change the world. I’ll explain in the next paragraph.
There is the side for why politics should not be there. This side argues that politics is just there for no reason and that we a re better off without it. If we get rid of it, we could get the freedom we always craved for, we would no longer see anymore corruption, and we would have fewer bad people around. This is just one side.
The other is about keeping it. To many, politics is the only way for one person to have the ability to change the world. If it is no longer there, then the lives of millions of people would have changed, because that is the form of government. Without politics, there would no longer be any government, and without a government, there would be anarchy. Also, there are many corrupt politicians.
See, this is the balance I refer to. Both reasons seem to have a point, and this is why we should keep it.
If there is a story that could explain the scenario of politicians and politics, it would the story of superheroes, especially the story of Batman’s and Superman’s relationship. There are those willing to protect the people, which were all on Batman’s side, and there were those that overtime became evil, and those joined Superman (people that don’t read comics would not understand it. For those that do will obviously know that this is the time after Superman killed the Joker
