Rayon is sometimes considered a synthetic fiber but it is not 100% synthetic fiber. Rayon is extracted from cellulose which is naturally found. After the first step it goes through some artificial processes because of which rayon is neither a natural fiber nor a synthetic fiber, it is somewhere in between.
