yes resistance is constant .

( if it obeys the ohm's law).

iamavery: thanks
ShringarBansal: yes...resistivity for a particular substance is constant....but resistance will change with change in temperature...resistance will increase with increase in temperature in metals but decreases in case of semi conductors like silicon and germanium

If a resistor obeys Ohm's law theresistance is constant (i.e. independent of voltage and current) by definition. ... Ohm's law is only valid in steady conditions and the variable parts of the equation are V and I. R is aconstant. Resistor values areconstant because it's a physical property due to the way they are made.... Hope it helps..

iamavery: Resitivity is constant always right?
amisha42: Yeah
iamavery: thank u
amisha42: Ur most wlcm
