strongly agree to the statement that Mrs.packletide's tiger is a satire. The author has very well showed th unhealthy competition in the world with the people and their so called 'friends'. Having competition between friends is possible to some extent but once we cross the limits we have to bear the consequences. There is a bad attitude called ego, which enables every person to this type of things. Money minded ness, fame, respect, in the modern world has become the main aim of the people. They don't cara of the consequences, Nd do whatever they feel like.
