The salt bridge allows charges to be neutralized by a flow of anions into the Zn2+ solution and a flow of cations into the Cu2+ solution.Because electrons from the oxidation half-reaction are released at the anode, the anode in a galvanic cell is negatively charged.

"Electrochemical cells, galvanic or also called voltaic cell cannot run for long time without a salt bridge because the cathode and anode compartments become charged with time and the attractive and repulsive forces will prohibit the flow of electrons within the cell."

So we can decision from above salt bridge necessary in galvanic cell for occurrence of cell reaction.
