It has become a platform where people can represent their talents and express their qualities to the world. It has enhanced creativity.Without social media today the world comes to a standstill. It is the place where people can showcase their skills and it is an easy access to the world
Hence, it could be concluded the social media is destructive if used in the wrong way but can prove to be a boon to the society if it is properly used.

Social media is both constructive and destructive. Using social media , people are aware with the happenings all over the world . It's a great way to share your own personal opinions and ideas with new friends . Further, social media can help in building customer relationships and It allows us to promote out businesses (there are both free and paid ways to do that).
But is can be destructive at times as it causes anxiety of people trying to fit in and be liked in everyones views. At times it can cause depression . Two studies involving more than 700 students found that depressive symptoms, such as low mood and feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness, were linked to the quality of online interactions. Researchers found higher levels of depressive symptoms among those who reported having more negative interactions. A similar study conducted in 2016 involving 1,700 people found a threefold risk of depression and anxiety among people who used the most social media platforms. Reasons for this, they suggested, include cyber-bullying, having a distorted view of other people’s lives, and feeling like time spent on social media is a waste.
Although it's very addictive , you can't lie . It's helped us and failed us on an equal amount of times and it shouldn't be banned but definetly lessoned .
