Is square is also a perallelogram if yes why

Yes — a special case of parallelogram.If you define a parallelogram as aquadrilateral in which each side is parallel to its opposite side, the squareclearly qualifies (in addition to that, the sides of a square are also all equal, AND all inside angles are right angles, i.e. 90 degrees).
