It is indeed A Star. Yet big indeed.
We can,in common language differentiate it from planets.
First it is a yellow dwarf star. It is too hot and give out solar flares. It has its own light and heat.It has no concrete surface unlike inner planets. It contains metallic hydrogenAnd most of all it keeps the planets and everything attracted towards itself characterizing itself as A Star or a control center of a galaxy...
