explanation:

sir issac newton told that earth attracts each body towards it which is called gravitational attraction. if any object is dropped its velocity keeps on increasing down to the earth due to this gravitational attraction. but by experiment it is other. a person dropped a big ball and small peeble from the top of the tower. the person shows that objects of different masses fall to the ground together, thus proving that acceleration due to gravity is the same for all objects.
