is the area of the square is equal to its perimeter give reason

No, it is not possible......but may can be in some conditions

So. 
                    REASON,

By example

===================================


Let 

side of square = s

Now, 

area of square = side^{2}   =  s^{2}
 
perimeter of square = 4*side = 4side


Now,

ATQ,

4side  should equal to  s^{2}

side should equal to  \frac{s^{2} }{4}

side should equal to  \frac{ s^{2} }{ 2^{2} }

side should should equal to ( ( \frac{s}{2} )^{2}


 \sqrt{side}  should equal to s/2


then 

2 \sqrt{side} should equal to s(side)



but this 


2 \sqrt{side} \neq side


hence,it is impossible.....i think
